My Child
Mother's Rights -- is a page dedicated to you, the Mothers, the Women, who
care about the children.
There are hundreds of sites dedicated to Father's Rights, Mother's Rights,
Women's Rights.
All of the women.
Women living with their children.
Women living apart from their children.
Women struggling to keep their families in tact.
Women fighting for custody of their children.
Grandmothers fighting to protect their grandchildren.
Second wives helping their husbands.
All the children.
The children of your womb, the children of your heart.
The children you planned to have.
The children that surprised you.
The children you care for because they need you.
The children you got when you married again.
Don't be left getting tossed around in the world with legal systems too busy
and too powerful to care about women and children. They say the best way to
judge the level of civilization of a society is to observe how they care
for their children and women.
I don't see any societies I would call too civilized.

Victims of Child
Abuse Laws
VOCAL is a child advocacy and family rights organization that provides information,
research data, emotional support, and an "experts" referral service for family
members who are victims of abuse or have been abused by "system professionals".
As a non-profit corporation run by unpaid volunteers and is supported by donations
from its members and other concerned citizens. A group of caring, responsible
parents who have been victimized by child abuse laws that enable "system
professionals" to ignore the Constitutional rights of American citizens. We
are doctors, lawyers, ministers, laymen and "Pro-Family" politicians who Value
Our Children and Laws, and are dedicated to changing laws which enable "system
professionals" to violate the Constitutional rights of American citizens.
We are against those who victimize children and adults by making anonymous,
malicious and false allegations of child abuse. VOCAL is against removing
children from a home without court order because mental, physical and sexual
abuse often occurs in foster care homes. VOCAL is against individuals who
abuse their positions of authority and cause irreparable damage to families
based on hearsay allegations. VOCAL is for higher standards of education for
HRS caseworkers, Child Protection Team Members, and Guardian-Ad-Litem volunteers.
VOCAL is for working with other pro-family organizations and encourages the
active pursuit of common goals. VOCAL believes the family is the foundation
of society, and any activity which weakens families is a threat to our entire
society. Strengthening family unity makes for a stronger America.

Do Right Dads---Home Page (915) 852-3973
404 Amalia Drive, El Paso, TX 79927
The Do Right Dads was established in 1997 to help those Dads that pay their
child support. Many of these Dads don't get the respect that they deserve.
They can also be treated like second class citizens because they cannot afford
the nicer things in life because they are trying to support their children.
These are the reasons I started the Do Right Dads. Introduction of the Founder.
My name is Kent Logan, and I have been paying child support since 1990. I
have had some tough times, but I know there are many others who have had much
worse than I have. I would like to hear many of the stories from these Dads
because it will help many of us appreciate what we do have. Goals of the
Do Right Dads 1) To get the public to realize that not all Dads are Dead Beats.
2) Solicit businesses to offer discounts to the members of the Do Right Dads.
3) Publish a quarterly(later monthly) newsletter to keep members abreast
of any new developments in the area of non-custodial parents. 4) Form
a nationwide support group to lobby Congress for possible tax deductions or
credits, and 5) Producing bumper stickers that state, "I'm a Good Dad! I
Pay My Child Support!!" I am attempting to meet these goals by sending press
releases to various media and have had some success in Texas and I have also
been contacted by the "Oprah Winfrey Show" inquiring about the organization.
I haven't been able to secure a spot on the show yet, but I do keep in contact
with one of the associate producers of the show about a possible show at
a later date.

Going through a divorce can be one of the most traumatic experiences in
a person's life. The thought of being separated from one's family is often
devastating, both physically and emotionally. It has been said, appropriately,
that parents are temporarily insane when going through the divorce process.
Unfortunately, it is during this irrational and traumatic period in your life
that you are being asked to make major decisions that will affect your relationship
with your children for the rest of your life. As divorced parents who have
gone through similar experiences, Texas Fathers for Equal Rights is well
aware of the problems you will most likely encounter after the divorce is
final. Therefore, we are concerned that you become fully aware of what you
are about to go through and, more importantly, what you are most likely to
lose - your parental rights as a parent - should you agree to be the Possessory
Conservator as set forth in the Texas Family Code. (214) 741-4800

Advice is usually given by people without the real information or life experience,
with the right intentions; but at the wrong time. With this book, you can take advice
when you want it and are ready to hear it! You can act on what you have learned,
mull it over or discard the advice altogether, without interference. This
book will not allow you to give the opposition power you might imagine -- but
that they do not really have -- or let you allow others to diminish the importance
you play in your children's lives. Divorce is never easy, but this will help.
This book has been called "Chicken Soup" for the Child Custody Case. It
will help a lot, and it certainly can't hurt. This book is 5½" x 8" and

NO BULLY website
This site is part of the Telecom/Police STOP BULLYING Campaign. Spot and
Bo are here to show you around the site. You can hang out with Bo and his
friends and play the No Bully game, and he's got lots of other useful stuff
for kids. Spot can help you to find out about support services in your community
and ways that adults can help kids to deal with bullying.
This site originates in New Zealand but addresses a world wide problem.
Telecom is the major sponsor of Police programs which help young New Zealanders
to avoid becoming offenders or victims of crime. The programs encourage
children and young people to act safely and confidently to protect themselves
and their property, and avoid drug abuse. Telecom supports the Police because
we recognize it is the responsibility of all New Zealanders to allow our children
and young people to grow up in a safe and healthy environment.

Encounter
Marriage Encounter, is a weekend away from home, family and responsibilities
where in a comfortable, secluded environment a couple is guided in the discovery
of new techniques of communicating and sharing with one another. It is not
a retreat, but it is a program designed to give couples the opportunity to
examine their lives together, their weaknesses and strong points, their attitudes
toward each other and toward their families. Couples are given the opportunity
to look at themselves, privately with their partner in an honest, face-to-face,
heart-to-heart encounter.
Engaged Encounter, is a weekend experience designed to help
couples prepare personally and as a couple for marriage. The focus is on the
marriage, not on the wedding. "A wedding is a day ... a marriage is a lifetime."
Couples are shown communication and decision-making techniques they can use
throughout their lifetime together. Engaged Encounter is specifically designed
for quiet reflection and discussion by each couple. It is a positive, simple,
common-sense experience between two people who are either seriously considering
engagement, engaged or recently married. At no time will the couple be asked
to share their private experiences with the group.
