Parenting at a Distance
Staying in touch with the children who live in your heart but not in your home. As a bipolar mother I will never have custody of my children. That is the
hardest thing I had to accept. Parenting at a Distance helps me send them
activities that will help them remember me with some happy memories. I am
getting better and they are getting older. Some day there will be an opportunity
for us to sit together. I will tell them how much joy I found in putting
together their projects and I hope they will be able to tell me how much they
enjoyed my efforts. Really a good book. Meghan Morris --Letter to the publisher
Parenting at a Distance, has been a great resource for me. At first the mother
of my son didn't want to help me communicate with the kids. The fact that I had
a plan for contact with them and was consistent won her over. I think she gets
as much a kick out of the seeing what will be in the next package as the boys
do. Ken Richards --Weekend Fathers Newsletter.

Goldstein & Bachman 888-35-LEGAL 732-360-9300
14 Woodward Drive, Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857
In January 2009, New Jersey officials took away a couple's three young children,
and the couple have been fighting the court system for child custody ever since.
On November 17, the wife gave birth to a boy, who child care workers also took
away following the birth. The names of the children are what drove workers to
deny the parents custody.
The couple apparently identifies with Neo-Nazi views, and they gave their
children names to that effect. One of their sons who was taken away in 2009 had
the name of "Adolf Hitler," and one of the other children had the middle name of
"Aryan Nation." They made national headlines at the time after a store refused
to put the son's name on a birthday cake.
Since 2009, the couple has been in numerous court hearings in a bid to win their
children back. The court appears unwilling to do so, not only because of their
Neo-Nazi views but also because of domestic violence reports involving the
husband. For his part, the man says that no such police reports exist.
The names which the couple have given their children may well be in bad taste,
although the most recent boy was given the relatively unassuming name of "Hons."
Nonetheless, they do have every right to fight for child custody, and the
assistance of legal counsel may help them in this regard. Similarly, a deep and
thorough knowledge of family law may prove invaluable to Florida residents who
lost child custody and are fighting to regain it.

prosecutes cases remanded by the prosecutors' office to municipal courts in
cooperation with county counsel and seeks civil judgments in appropriate
cases. The principal function of the fraud unit is to help maintain the
integrity of the public assistance programs administered by the Department

-Time Dads is to enhance & promote the role of fathers in the family

who spends 30 or more hours a week on the job is considered a full-time employee,
and one does not have to spend 24 hours a day to be considered full-time.
The same applies to Fathers. Our definition of a full -time dad is any father
who takes his children's care as a top priority in his life. All it really
takes is love to be a dad, add time & devotion, and you have a full time
dad.

In New Jersey, judges will take several factors into consideration before making
a custody decision that is meant to be in the best interests of the children
involved. Most importantly, judges will make sure that parents have been and
will continue to be involved with the upbringing of their children.
Issues of parental fitness can also be assessed by judges. Past or current
problems with alcohol or other substance abuse could affect a parent's
eligibility for primary or joint custody. An individual's criminal record or
history of domestic violence will most certainly be taken into consideration.
In today's technological age, social media is even playing a role in some
divorce and child custody cases. A parent who has engaged in misconduct in the
form of video footage, e-mails, recorded phone messages or online postings could
be considered an unfit parent.

Advice is usually given by people without the real information
or life experience, with the right intention at the wrong time. With this
book you can take advice when you want it and ready to hear it. You can
act on what you have learned, mull it over or discard the advice altogether
without interference. This book will not allow you to give the opposition power you might imagine but that they do not really have or let you allow
others to diminish the importance you play in your children's lives. Divorce is never easy, this will help. This book has been called 'Chicken Soup' for
the Child Custody Case. It will help a lot and it certainly can't hurt.
This book is 5 1/2" X 9" and has more than 1,700 entries.

Marriage Encounter, is a weekend away from home, family and responsibilities
where in a comfortable, secluded environment a couple is guided in the discovery
of new techniques of communicating and sharing with one another. It is not
a retreat, but it is a program designed to give couples the opportunity to
examine their lives together, their weaknesses and strong points, their attitudes
toward each other and toward their families. Couples are given the opportunity
to look at themselves, privately with their partner in an honest, face-to-face,
heart-to-heart encounter.
Engaged Encounter, is a weekend experience designed to help
couples prepare personally and as a couple for marriage. The focus is on
the marriage, not on the wedding. "A wedding is a day ... a marriage is a
lifetime." Couples are shown communication and decision-making techniques
they can use throughout their lifetime together. Engaged Encounter is specifically
designed for quiet reflection and discussion by each couple. It is a positive,
simple, common-sense experience between two people who are either seriously
considering engagement, engaged or recently married. At no time will the
couple be asked to share their private experiences with the group.

NJCCR is a non-profit membership organization established to focus on the
rights of children to have a meaningful relationship with both parents.
NJCCR is staffed and operated by members from all walks of life who share a
common goal of minimizing the destructive influence of (family break up) on
children.
NJCCR believes that the best parent is both Parents and its goal in helping
families is to resolve issues when divorce is necessary or chosen by the
couple.
Additionally, NJCCR believes in the preservation of the family units net
worth for the well being of the children and discourages unnecessary and
destructive usage of the adversarial process of family law.
The stability of our society depends on the ethical and moral behavior of
the professionals that surround the divorce industry and NJCCR believes all
professionals and well as the family courts should be held accountable for
their actions, especially when children are involved.
NJCCR honors our Judges, Lawyers, Psychologist, social workers and others
within the system that adhere to the rules of professional conduct for their
respective profession.
NJCCR was originally organized in 1988 to address concerns regarding, lack
of access to, the non-custodial parent for children of separation or
divorce. Today, NJCCR has evolved to become a coalition of non custodial men
and women, husbands and wives, grandparents and concerned individuals, who
care about children's needs and rights to enjoy and benefit from having
equal access to both parents and stepparents.
As an affiliate chapter of the Children's Rights Council (CRC) in
Washington, D.C., the NJCCR is currently working toward alleviating the
negative affects of changes in the American family structure by educating
and helping children and families facing alternate living situations.
Divorce is a complex process unfortunately controlled by our judiciary
system, where individuals in many cases have little or no input, even though
it will forever change their lives. Individuals that are supposed to be
helped by the system are often left out of the decision process and handed
standard "solutions" that can damage the parent/child relationship by
ignoring existing laws for reasons of expedience and convenience.
Membership is open to both men and women and we encourage the participation
of fathers, mothers, grandparents, stepparents and extended families and
friends.
